One last look before leaving...

I created this image inspired by a song that brings me good memories and inspired also by some fashion shoots around the web.

All the cloth was created in Marvelous Designer 2, it was my first time using it and despite being slightly different from my usual workflow, it was very fun and intuitive way of work. The rest was modeled in Maya, all textures created in Mudbox and final render in mental ray.

I tried so hard to learn Maya I got burned on it in College they wouldn't slow down and just teach me. Everything had to come out so fast. Do you think now that I'm outta college I should give it a go again? If I did....could you help me understand some thhings?

This picture is super adorable. I would hate for 3 d to kick my butt as much as it did. I have a feeling it had more to do with working full time, taking care of my ill mother, my own depression and disease that I suffer from, and school. I just couldn't focus, I eventually exploded. Thankfully I am on meds, out of work (not a great thing but a reliever to) and I quit school............I am still taking care of my ill mother and I am still fighting my own disease as well. Life's not easy but you do what you can.

So if you are up to teaching, I am SO up to learning!

I really love the lighting, I can practically see the rest of the environment without it even being there. The softness of curves and the exaggeration where it is lends a very cartoonish yet serious tone, a la Pixar's more well fleshed out characters.
